I fucking love this.
Yesterday’s tote bag finally finished up and properly photographed. As I said, I am hoping to post these on Etsy, but I’d like to do it when I have at least 5 done. This Saturday I managed to sell three bags, so I haven’t been able to keep enough around for the Etsy shop, alas. (No complaints here, I’ll tell you. Instead, many many many thankyous!).

An excerpt from the weirdest email I have ever received from my mom:
“I also wanted to tell both of you that your father and I bought urns at Bombay on Monday when I was off. They are actually beautiful jewellery boxes that can be used for urns. We paid $120.00 for each and they start at about $700.00 at the funeral homes. We have them stored above the cabinets in the laundry room. (I know that this sounds creepy but we wanted to let you guys know in case something happens to both of us at the same time).
Love
Mom”

Best, Thing. Ever.
And thanks to Russell Crowe for bringing them to the attention of the world their lives will likely never be the same. And it couldn’t be more deserved.
I’ve been mulling this whole Shit Girls Say thing over for a while now and I think I’ve finally figured out what it is that bothers me about it: Everything. And that includes you, other people who hate it.
If you’ve been living under a rock for the past week or so, Toronto dudes Graydon Sheppard…
My very first animation, courtesy of the tablet I received as a gift this holiday. In all honestly, stop animation (with paper puppets made by me) have always been my dream project [can anyone say Amy Lockhart?], and that is where I’d like to take my illustrations some day. The ultimate goal? To make animated music videos for all the amazing music my friends record. Music videos have always been included in my top three preferred artistic mediums.

Another drawing requested by Jordan Shiveley. This time it’s a rust monster, also of Dungeons & Dragons fame. These fellas are pretty neat, I have to say. They eat metal. Seriously! Metal! Funky stuff. This has been a great exercise. I have to give Jordan a solid nod for lighting the fire under my ass.

Skater 26 Trailer.
This is uh-mazing!!
13th Generation Productions presents “Skater 26”. Produced by Steve Romanko, Directed by Turner Van Ryn.
The nature of sport. Fine, looping motion punctuated by violent collision. That is the equation. Sacrifice and beauty. “Skater 26” examines and brings the audience into the universe of the athlete, that struggle, that day to day pain. All for a chance at the glory of winning and the closeness of family.
